Additional Offerings

SCHOOL TO CAREER (WORK BASED LEARNING) •
1 OR 2 CREDITS (ELECTIVE)
Students who are qualified and passing all subjects
in their senior year may opt to industry/business
based internships during the school day. Students are
excused early from school to travel and then work at an
approved work site. For information see your Program
Manager.

COMMUNITY SERVICE – SENIOR RESIDENT • 12TH
GRADE • 1 CREDIT
Students who qualify in their senior year may be
awarded this class. Students work in different offices
and classrooms during the school day. Students receive
credit and a grade for their work.

DUAL ENROLLMENT
Through a partnership with the School District
of Philadelphia and Universities and Colleges in
Philadelphia students at Dobbins are able to enroll
for college credit courses. Information regarding
requirements, locations, and actual courses is available
from the school counselors. Courses are offered at
various times during both the fall and spring semester
for our juniors and seniors.

DRIVER EDUCATION
Courses are offered after school at various locations
throughout the School District of Philadelphia.
Instruction is classroom and simulator based.
