SPANISH 1 • 1 CREDIT
This course focuses on basic vocabulary and sentence
structure. Students learn practical expressions and read
dialogues and simple narratives in Spanish. The cultures
of the countries where Spanish is used are studied.
Emphasis is placed upon patterns of everyday life.

SPANISH 2 • 1 CREDIT
Students continue to develop their listening and speaking
skills. Reading and writing assignments emphasize cultural
topics such as social situations likely to be encountered
when students visit Spanish-speaking countries.
